As I mentioned in my previous posts, I have not been on top of the blogging world lately. So much so, in fact, that my dearest Lauren is on her 29th day of 30 Days of Blogging and I didn't even know. (And I apologize, Brunhilda, for the incessant commenting I did on all of your posts today...at least I'm catching up!)

What I Love
I feel like I should make some sort of effort to keep my blog updated, who knows why though. Mostly for Ashley.
So I decided I will post about current and lasting obsessions.

Current/Lasting: Vans.

Current: Cottage Cheese.
Current/Lasting: With Love by Hilary Duff.
So I decided I will post about current and lasting obsessions.
Lasting: Sprinkles.
Love em on cakes, cupcakes, doughnuts, ice cream, you name it.
And yes this photo is a little freaky but it's also a little awesome.

Current: Florence and the Machine.
Love the music.

Current with a hint of Lasting: Something Corporate.
They've been one of my favorite bands since the day I first listened to them years ago.
I have this weird complex where I am OBSESSED with one song for anywhere from a week to a month. And I am currently obsessed with SoCo's song called "Fall."
I always get a little sad when I devlop obsessions with songs from old bands that are no longer together....I'll never hear it live. :*[

Current/Lasting: Vans.
I've loved Vans for a while. But lately whenever I wear a dress/skirt to work that Vans would look silly with I die a little bit and resort to normal flats.
They're just so comfortable and have never failed me:
I went on a trailless hike over ice-and-snow-covered giant rocks up a mountain wearing laceless Vans. I am still alive.
Not only did I not die, I didn't fall once. Oh Vans.

Current: Cottage Cheese.
I've always liked it but, that's just it liked. Now I love it.
I love cottage cheese with fruit, especially peaches and pears. Lately I've been eating it just plain but when I Googled just "cottage cheese" it all looked horribly unappetizing.
It also came up with a picture of an extremely large woman wearing underwear whose legs really looked like cottage cheese....poor individual.

Current/Lasting: With Love by Hilary Duff.
I've loved it ever since my freshman roommate Shalee (who now has an ADORABLE baby!!) wore it.
Current: Pajamas.
I can't tell ya why but whenever I'm home for an extended period of time, I HAVE to be wearing pajamas.
Sometimes when I'm at work I get so excited to go home, not because that means work is over, but because I get to put my pjs on. Yep.

And so concludes the list.

I Live
It is true, though I have disappeared from the blogging world for quite some time I do, in fact, still breathe. So....I need to get caught up on everyone's blogs.
I feel like a lot has happened since my last post but at the same time I don't have much to write about. A LOT of boy drama has happened/is happening but I don't think you guys want to hear about that. It's all ridiculous anyways.
I went home for Christmas and it was excellent. This has never happened before but near the end of break I was sooo ready to go back to Provo. I must like it here or something. I loved being with my family and friends though! Poor Celesta was basically on her deathbed the entire time so we didn't get to hang out much. :[ A lot of my other friends were bums...but we're not going there haha.
So the snow's almost all melted. The weather this week has been A-M-A-Z-I-N-G....it's felt almost like spring!! Is it sad that I think weather in the 30s and 40s feels good?? And that I consider it perfect sweater weather?? I am praying (well not really....) that it won't snow again, even though I've really liked it this time around. I've got SPRING FEVER now.
Classes this semester are insane. I'm taking 17 credits composed of 4 sociology classes, Spanish (the one all the RMs take), and Mission Prep (no, I'm not planning on going on a mission...at least not til my 50s). But let me tell you those soc classes are kicking my butt. I'm so behind on the reading. But I really like all of my classes so far except one of my soc classes....I should have known that nothing good comes from a class called Qualitative Research Methods. Ugh.
Travis Birch got his mission call to Kampala, Uganda and reports to the MTC April 7. I so called it....I told him I KNEW he was going to a little village-place where he could play with dark-skinned children. And I'm pretty sure I told him it'd either be South America or Africa. Yep.
And my lil brother Travis can start his papers February 1!!!! I might cry!! My little brother going on a mission....aaahhh!!! He's already got his new suit and everything. I should post a picture of that. I love him so much!
Well...I can't think of much else that is significant enough to blog about. So...til next time.

I Have Received a Complaint
This is the tale of Ashley. Ashley Jennine MacArthur to be exact.
Ashley was a feisty fellow. Well actually she was a lass, but fellow sounds better. So when I say fellow I mean lass.
One day Ashley went to work. She saw Lisa and became terribly enraged because Lisa did not bring Ashley her Ibuprofen. So she decided to envoke her wrath upon Lisa. Luckily, Lisa had caught wind of Ashley's fit of fury before she arrived at work. So she prepared. She wore chainmail to work. And brought Excalibur.

It was awkward.
The end.

She also brought a dragon.

Well, Ashley did not take kindly to this defense. So she punched Lisa with her lips.
It was awkward.

My Blog
is insanely boring.
I feel as though blogging is somewhat pointless until I have other people to blog about....like my kiddies. Nothing incredibly interesting happens in my life. So.
Tomorrow night my roommates, me, Jordan, Jonny, and Dave are getting our butts up to Sandy to see the midnight showing of Harry Potter. Wooo!! I may just die when I see Rupert Grint...the love of my life....like for rillz I love him. Just look at him.
(please excuse the use of the swear word, it came with the image. Swearing aside, I couldn't agree more with the caption...ahhh)

Okay so in the last three pictures all three of them look really hot. But gosh I love Rupert Grint/Ronald Weasley. Maybe he is a little goofy looking but he's had my heart since the seventh grade. That's a long time. Nine years long.
Might I add that my life has once again been made complete....I found my autographed photo of Rupert Grint. And you can sure as heck bet that it's hanging on my wall above my bed. I love him. Okay.

Urrr....
So I kind of disappeared from the blogging world for an extended period of time. Not intentionally. But I was reading through the last month of my dear Babooshka Lauren's blog and saw I was tagged to do a survey. So, in lieu of doing my homework as I should, I am going to do this survey. If you haven't already seen, I have a new post below this as whell.
1. If you could only listen to one artist for the rest of your life, who would it be?
Oh my gosh I might as well be sentenced to death. Maybe Muse. There are too many, I feel stressed.
2. Do you/did you sleep with a stuffed animal and what is it?
Umm...yes. I have 2 dogs (the SAME dogs mind you) named Old Spot and New Spot that I sleep with. I've had them since I was like 2. Yes, I insisted on having two of the same stuffed animals and obviously I didn't have proper naming ettiquette.
3. What is your favorite Disney movie?
Peter Pan. Then Beauty and the Beast.
4. What is one thing in your life you regret doing or not doing?
I'm probably gonna have to side with Lauren on this one...I regret wasting time.
5. What is your favorite thing about blogging?
It's a good cure for boredom and it's also a great out when you wanna say something.
6. What is your most embarrassing moment?
Hmm. Well. Now I do not find this as embarrassing, just excessively comical, but at the time I wanted to DIE. Story:
When I was 12 years old (heck, from the time I was 9 until I was 17) I had a huge ridiculous crush on Casey Taylor. I was a freak and was so in love with him that I thought it necessary to have his name and phone number (all surrounded by hearts) written on the white board in our kitchen. Well, for my 12th birthday, he, with 3 of his 4 younger brothers in tow, biked to my house to give me a cute little pink teddy bear. I was so excited. A few days later, my family was over for the family birthday celebration. My Uncle Steve is a HUGE jokester....it all goes downhill from here. He saw Casey's number on the board and somehow snuck one of our phones into the kitchen, and the next thing I know, I hear him saying, "Hi Casey! This is Lisa's uncle. I just called to let you know that she hated the teddy bear!"
I freaked out. I ran and grabbed the other phone and SHOUTED "Ca-ca-casey!!! Don't listen to him, he's joking!!!" and hung up. My whole family was hysterical and basically in tears. I started SCREAMING and SHRIEKING because I was sure I was dying. Later we found out that my uncle didn't hang up his phone correctly and so Casey heard me screaming.
The end.
7. If you could change your name to something else, what would it be?
There are a lot of names I love but I'm saving them for my children. So I will keep Lisa.
8. What is one of your greatest accomplishments in life?
Making the decision to come back to BYU. If you guys know me, making decisions is one of my weaknesses.
The end. Everyone is tagged.
