Pish Posh

Well, I am in the midst of studying for finals. More specifically, I am currently in the midst of studying for the final for my Foundations of Social Inquiry class.

The final is in 4 hours and it may or may not kick my butt, so I wonder why I am blogging. I just simply feel too distracted to study. I am at work.

Tomorrow is the last day of finals, and I have 3 left. My plan is to take the one this afternoon, cram-study and take my Social Psychology one tonight, and then take my Spanish one tomorrow.

I've decided to drop my Spanish minor. I want to become fluent in Spanish and the only things the upper-division Spanish courses will do is teach me about the literature and history of the Spanish language. So, if I drop my minor, I can then graduate in December 2011 instead of April 2012. I can THEN also for reals move to Mexico (remember when I told you all I was doing that?) through a program called ILP to teach English/improve my Spanish. One of my friends told me that you can get a Spanish Certificate from BYU...so I feel that living in Mexico for a few months + Spanish Certificate is just as good as a minor. End.

Well, lots of crazy things are going on in my life. As those of you who know me well may have guessed, many of these crazy things center around boys and I must just say it is stressful. But....it will all pan out. I just hate hurt feelings so I hope none of those happen.

Anyways...I just needed to distract myself for a few minutes. Hopefully I have the restlessness out of my system so that I can STUDY. Wish my luck. Ugh.

P.S. My Travie is in AFRICA.

Today.

Today I am irritated. People are bugging me, school is bugging me, work is bugging me, and most of all, I am bugging me. And there's no escaping THAT one.

I need to get away for a while.

Days 29 and 30

Day 29: Favorite TV Shows and Why
-The Office (granted I feel that the quality is steadily declining...and Will Ferrell? Really?)
Why? It is hilarious. It has become my family's TV show. We quote it all the time. What I am saying is that this show is a family bonding experience. Haha. And I love (most of) the awkward humor.
-Boy Meets World
Why? I grew up with that show. It is also hilarious. You just feel like you relate to the characters...and you gotta love the Feeney call. This show has a special place in my heart.

Really those are my only FAVORITES. Shows I also enjoy include:

Community
Parks & Rec
Modern Family
House
Criminal Minds
Desperate Housewives (I know)

Day 30: Movies I Can Watch Again and Again
-Disturbia
-Hook
-Sweet Home Alabama
-Salt
-Get Smart
-27 Dresses
-Inception
-Step Up
-Remember the Titans

Day 27: My Day Job vs. My Passion

My day job is a Customer Service rep/Trainer at BYU Independent Study. Here is my picture from the photo directory in all of its shiny-faced horror.

My dream job....so I hadn't even thought of this until Ashley posted that she wants to be a Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. So I'm kinda copying her but I'd TOTALLY love to be an Auror.

Buuut....since the magical world doesn't exist (which I KNOW it doesn't because I absolutely refuse to accept the idea that if it does, I'm a Muggle), my dream job would be working with youth. And I was too lazy to find/make a picture of this. Troubled youth, abused children, whatever. I love it all.

And I really hope that when I'm married and live in a family ward, I'll get called into Young Women. Now I probably jinxed myself.

Oh Dear

I am aware that I am utterly behind on my 30 days of blogging, which should, in fact, have ended the day before yesterday. I blame it on my OH SO WONDERFUL trip to the Land of the Sun aka ARIZONA this past weekend.

So worth it.

I'll catch up soon. Promise (hopefully).

In other news, I want to be a hermit for a while.
